BIO

Born in Bradford On Avon 1958.

Moved around England as a child before completing one year of a two year foundation art course aged 17.

Joined the Royal Air Force at 19 before completing a BA(Hons) Degree in Bristol aged 26.

After varied employment, became a teacher of English and Drama in London and Zambia 1994 to 2015. 

Painting pictures since 2015.

Currently exploring the human condition through the stylistic ground between realism and expressionism with pieces sometimes charged with incongruous elements and sometimes subtly or overtly political.

Everything, in life and art, is and always will be, a work in progress.
